Collection of Cozy

October 8, 2023

I am not the person that curses summer all season begging for relief from the heat.  Quite the opposite actually.

BUT…by this time of year, I am absolutely welcoming the cooler crisp air, the gorgeous fall foliage and the piles of leaves that come along with it.  I don’t mind pulling on my hoodie, grabbing a good book, a cup of calming tea, and snuggling under a warm blanket every night.

In truth, that basically describes every night for me all year long but…I digress.

I WILL however change things up like maybe the flavor of my tea to enhance the feel of warmth…  My go to tea guru is none other than Lindsay of Truly Teas.  She has it figured out in the way of full bodied, organic and ethically sourced teas!  Her flavor blends are incredibly unique and make for a wonderfully individualized tea time experience. Find all her blends including this Fall Ya’ll seasonal grab right here.

Lindsay and I had a great conversation not long ago about her teas of course, but also the road that got her to where she is now, her battle with Budweiser and why it’s so important to just go for the things you want. Listen in to that conversation here!

Other things I’m cozying up to this fall?  A book of course! I’m going to start making it a habit to share what I’m reading, but just know that I’m a slow reader, so it won’t be as often as you might like! That being said though, I will soon be sharing a list of reads I have loved in the past, ones that have inspired, influenced or even changed me. Plus those that I’ve just found to be enjoyable too!

I’d love to know what you’re reading as well!  You can connect with me in the form below. I’m always welcoming your input, feedback and ideas!

So, what am I reading right now?  The very inspiring and vulnerable memoir written by Chloe Cooper Jones.  Most of us will not find her exact circumstances relatable, but that doesn’t stop you from reading on eagerly with intrigue.  This book reminds me how we can simultaneously be very different, while also very much the same. Grab your copy anywhere books are sold or even borrow it from your local library.

Another thing I’m loving this season is the generosity of friends! Would you just look at this amazing seasonal abundance?!  I am not a great gardener, but I’m lucky to have friends that are!  My friend Kristin is highly skilled not just in the garden, but in her kitchen as well. While not everything she makes is plant based, a large amount of it is and she takes beautiful pictures of her creations that you’ll love admiring. Connect with Kristin on Instagram and follow along!

It’s my absolute honor and duty to share the awesome things other women in the world are doing!  You should know this does not come with any incentive for me, other than I love spreading the good and uplifting others who are living their purposes by sharing their gifts.  So, if I can help broaden that reach…I will!  If you are out there spreading the good, being the change, or have a story you’d like to share, you can request to be a guest on the podcast!

Interested? Just click here to fill out the Be A Podcast Guest form and get the conversation going!

I'd love to hear from you!
